Sodium metal is soft, light and melleable active alkali metal. It can be cut off by knife, and its section is silvery white with storng luster. It has plasticity, ductility and good heat transfer and electrical conduction properties.
Use:
Widely used in inorganic and organic chemicals, metallurgy, pharmaceutical, national defence, food and such industries.
Transportation:
Should be transported by airtight vehicle by preventing water from entering the packing drum
